Create a tournament

A tournament links rooms together, holds a schedule, and (with MODAQ mode) collects rosters, packets, live stats, and errata.

Tournament name Date List in the public tournament directory (moderators can find it and request to join)

Moderators reading in MODAQ mode will score with this format by default.

Round packets optional

Upload several .json packets at once — each file's name becomes the round label. Rounds start hidden from moderators; release them from the director console.

Require readers to have a director-approved account to access these packets

Roster optional

A registration QBJ (teams + players). MODAQ rooms default to it.

Default room settings

Every room created in this tournament starts with Moderator view Buzzer queue mode Allow players to withdraw Auto-clear buzzer 5s after a buzz Require team name to join Let players alert the moderator that the buzzer isn't clear
